Other than that, it involved 377 participants and the speakers (Dr Surya Prakash and Assoc Prof Dr Suman Bhakri from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi, India). In addition, the key outcomes of the event include the speaker discussion on start-ups in emerging economies and the need for new business models. The relevance of entrepreneurship to economic development has been highlighted with types of assistance and opportunities that are available especially during health/financial crises. Besides, the importance of agriculture technology in developing countries, including Malaysia, has been discussed, which could transform people's lives by creating decent job opportunities and economic growth. Lastly, the event was successfully held with the receipt of promising feedback from both Malaysian and Indian participants. In addition, the event’s key outcomes include the speaker discussing how to write an effective and good thesis/dissertation in social sciences disciplines; and providing various practical strategies and techniques for writing scientific research. Lastly, the event was successfully held with many postgraduates, staff and the public have attended the talk, and the feedback received was promising. In addition, the event’s key outcomes include (i) to create the awareness about the climate change and the importance of green economy towards achieving sustainable development, (ii) to provide in depth knowledge to participants about the impact of climate change and the concept of green economy along with Malaysian policy-making initiatives and (iii) to educate the participants on how reduce climate change and benefits of green economy in terms of environmental sustainability and social equity.
