1 12 March 2021 Social Forum I: Attitudes to Aging (Virtual mode: Zoom) 12th March 2021,

This forum provided a channel for CAP members (academics and students) to have an open and interactive dialogue, and discussion on the aging topic with stakeholders (e.g., practitioners and community members) to stimulate new research ideas and discover collaboration opportunities. This forum also increased the interaction between academia and mass media associations, the reputation of CAP through the invitation of the external association (founding president of the Third Age Association) to the CAP event. We are looking forward to more collaborations with the Third Age Association. Meanwhile, through the research finding sharing, it also promotes and acknowledges the CAP commitment in aging related research. This event also increases awareness of all participants on aging issues and understand the strength of the elderly and their contribution to society. As we received overwhelming number of supports, we believe that this social forum can be a great opportunity for CAP to promote our research centre as well as the name of UTAR in the contribution to aging. The video recording of this event can be found in CAP webpage (https://cap.research.utar.edu.my/).
