| Description of Centre: | The main goals of CRNCD are to to be a reputed regional Centre of Excellence in research related to Non-Communicable Diseases and to contribute towards the Good Health and Well-being of the Community (Goal 3 of UNESCO’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals). CRNCD aims to: • To promote and support a research culture encompassing intellectual curiosity and inquiry, ethical conduct, professionalism and co-operative engagement • To promote, enhance and support fundamental research that integrate basic medical and biological sciences of medical relevance • To promote, enhance and support cross-disciplinary applied • and translational research with clinical impact |
