Description of Centre: The main goals of CRNCD are to to be a reputed regional Centre of Excellence in research related to Non-Communicable Diseases and to contribute towards the Good Health and Well-being of the Community (Goal 3 of UNESCO’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals).

CRNCD aims to:
• To promote and support a research culture encompassing intellectual curiosity and inquiry, ethical conduct, professionalism and co-operative engagement
• To promote, enhance and support fundamental research that integrate basic medical and biological sciences of medical relevance
• To promote, enhance and support cross-disciplinary applied
• and translational research with clinical impact
Research Area: At CRNCD, we focus on conducting cutting-edge research that spans a broad spectrum of non-communicable diseases, including cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and respiratory conditions. Our interdisciplinary approach brings together experts from various fields to explore the multifaceted aspects of NCDs, encompassing genetics, epidemiology, clinical research, public health, and healthcare policy.
