UTAR introduces an elective course, Experiential Research Skills (ERS) as another alternative for the UTAR URS student to complete the scheme.
- A UTAR student should register as a UTAR URS student before the enrolment for ERS.
- The Track II offers student to complete the following UTAR URS components:
- Research Workshop (4 hours);
- Library Information Skills Programme (4 hours);
- Research Seminar/Talk (2 hours);
- Research Project Attachment (120 hours)
- However, the student should complete Research Project Attachment (120 hours) as follows:
- Research Project Attachment (60 hours) under ERS;
- Research Project Attachment (60 hours) under UTAR URS project/final year project (FYP) upon the completion of ERS.
- A UTAR URS student should refer to their programme structure and respective faculty before the enrolment for ERS.
- A UTAR URS student who has registered for the ERS may not withdraw from the scheme before completing the ERS.
