UTAR Research Fellow Scheme

Procedure


The UTAR Research Fellow Scheme is established to provide avenues for Principal Investigator (PI)
in UTAR to engage skilled and experience’s researchers to intensify research activities under their
external research funding in UTAR.

Research Fellow:

The candidate must:
(i) possess a Master’s degree with at least five (5) years research/industry experience
or PhD degree with at least three (3) years research/industry experience in the
relevant areas of the research project.

(ii) have experience in carrying out research and have published in reviewed journals at either the
national or international level.

Senior Research Fellow:

The candidate must:

(i) possess a PhD degree with more than 5 years research/industry experience in the
relevant areas of the research project.

(ii) have experience in carrying out research and have published in reviewed journals at either the
national or international level.
