| Education Level | Applicant preferably Malaysian has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Occupational Safety and Health, Healthcare or other related degree. Honours degree with CGPA > 2.75 will be given priority. Background in basic educational research methods and statistics would be a plus. Experience or exposure in public health is considered an asset. Applicants preferably have experience working with researchers. Applicants should have excellent written and oral presentation skills in English. The ability to communicate well in Bahasa Malaysia and other languages is an asset. Previous work or research experience is also an asset. |
| Specific Skills / Knowledge Required | 1. Responsible for both computer laboratory and field data collection related to a UTARSRF in the economic sector. 2. To conduct literature reviews, coordinate focus group discussion / interview, survey development, pilot testing of survey, administering survey through field work, data collection and data analysis. Some travel to various cities in the Peninsular Malaysia for data collection will be required. 3. To prepare materials for submission for funding agency, maintain accurate records of interviews, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects, attend project meetings, seminars and other meetings as necessary. 4. To summarise project results, prepare articles, reports, and presentations. 5. To assist in monitoring of the project budget. |
