Job DescriptionThe researcher will first construct a multiple-sky imagers network (electronics instrumentation) to capture all-sky images. Followed by developing an artificial intelligent correlation model that can detect the speed of cloud motions in a shorter time or higher accuracy. Next, to process the images captured by the multiple sky imagers to retrieve cloud motion vectors and clouds 3D volumetric information. The information will be used to forecast short term variation of solar irradiance.
