The MRC Global Funding for Rubber Innovation (GFRI) is a grant provided by the Malaysian Rubber Council (MRC) to seed innovative inter-disciplinary non-fundamental research with the potential to promote investments in high-value products and technologies within rubber and rubber products industry.
MRC GFRI aims to encourage the generation of ideas, innovations and inventions for rubber products and technologies with good commercial viability to attract investment by the Malaysian rubber industry.
The application is open to all local and overseas researchers from universities, research institutions, other institutes of higher learning and companies based in Malaysia and overseas.
Priority Areas:
1. From TRL 3 (proof of concept) to TRL 7 (detailed design and assembly level build)
2. Ready for commercialization
3. Provide solutions to elevate the rubber industry
Funding: Maximum RM400,000.00
