Project Postponement/Extension

  • Postponement of commencement date (New Project)
    • Written request shall be submitted with justification to IPSR.
  • Extension of Project Duration
    • Extension of Research Project Form (FM-IPSR-R&D-068) shall be 
      submitted to IPSR at least 3 (three) months before the project ends.
The Approval authority for postponement and extension shall be from the
Senior Management Committee (SMC) with the recommendation from
Research & Development and Commercialisation Committee (RDCC).

External Funding

  • Extension of Project Duration
    • Request letter to the funding bodies shall be submitted through
      IPSR with the endorsement from the Director of IPSR. 
It is recommended to submit the project extension request to IPSR at least 3.5 months
before the project ends.
