| Job Description | (i) To investigate the effect of different oxidising agents in the recovery of Ni2+ from electroplating wastewater as nickel oxyhydroxide.
(ii) To study and optimise the effects of key parameters such as oxidising agent concentration, initial Ni2+ concentration, and oxidising agent-to-Ni2+ molar ratio, on Ni2+ removal from electroplating wastewater using response surface methodology. (iii) To characterise nickel oxyhydroxide as a recoverable product using various physicochemical characterisation techniques. |
