Project Title: Design and optimization of planar inverted-L antenna for on- and in-metal RFID tagging applications
Location: Sungai Long campus
Appointment Duration: 1 year
No. of Vacancy: 1 Master candidate
Stipend: RM 2,200 per month (Full Tuition Fee Scholarship for candidate with CGPA: 3.5000 and above T&C applies;)
Education Level: Degree in 3E / EC / ET /PH
Specific Skills / Knowledge Required: Knowledge: Circuit Theory & Electromagnetism
Software: CircuitCAM, CST Microwave Studio, COMSOL Multiphysics, MATLAB
Job Description:
  1. To design RFID tag antennas that can be used in close proximity to conductive object.
  2. To optimize the designs using conventional optimizers (e.g., genetic algorithm, GA).
