|Specific Skills / Knowledge Required:
||Basic optics and electronics circuits knowledge
- Develop and fabricate a WRC-FPLD which able to integrate with SMF to create an unstable fiber laser that sensitive to acoustic waves,
- Study the characteristic of the fiber laser under WRC-FPLD modulation, loss modulation and acoustic modulation for frequency range between 100 Hz to 100 kHz, and
- Optimize the fiber laser for acoustic modulation to achieve minimum noise and high signal to noise ratio for water leakage detection.
