Job Description :

Candidates must have a good BSc.(Hons) from recognized universities in life sciences-related subjects (biomedical science, biotechnology, biochemistry etc.), with a higher second class upper or first class (CGPA ≥ 3.20). Prior experience with the techniques above is an added advantage.


A research assistantship of RM 1000 nett/month will be offered for the successful candidate. Successful candidate must also apply for external scholarships like Ministry of Higher Education’s MyMaster or Kuok Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship to cover for tuition fees and living expenses. Student will be registered at UTAR and may be based at Dr. Sharmili Vidyadaran’s lab at Faculty of Medicine and Health Science, UPM, Serdang, for a certain period of time.

 
Knowledge Required : Cell culture, transfection, molecular biology techniques including gene expression analysis, Western blot, ELISA, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence microscopy, etc.
