In conjunction with UTAR’s 10th anniversary celebration, the University is organizing the International Symposium on Education and Research (ISER 2012) at Lecture Complex 2, Perak Main Campus on Thursday, 18 October 2012. The theme for the symposium is –‘Bridging Research & Academic Excellence: Identifying New Frontiers’.

This one-day symposium provides a platform for invited academicians to present their views and to create awareness on the importance of education and research. It also provides an opportunity for intellectual discourse on issues related to the topic and to explore new horizons for bridging the gap between education and research.

Invited speakers would include prominent leaders of the academia and research, including Presidents or Vice-Chancellors of local and overseas universities. Their in-depth views and comments on issues related to academic and research excellence will definitely benefit the general public, students and academics.
