Public-Private Research Network (PPRN) 2022

UPDATE: PUBLIC-PRIVATE RESEARCH NETWORK (PPRN) 2.0 FOR YEAR 2022 IS NOW OPEN (DATELINE EXTENDED)

The Public-Private Research Network (PPRN) initiative has been in operation since 2015. It is a model strategic cooperation between industry and academy to increase productivity and strengthen the growth of the Malaysian economy through innovation and commercialization programs demand-driven.

The application process for PPRN is through online https://epprn.mohe.gov.my/. However, the link can only be accessed on 1st February 2022. As such, the application process will be conducted offline and online.

The submission deadline has been extended to 25 February 2022.

14 January 2022 - 7 February 2022

 Submission of the following documents to IPSR (softcopy):
  1. Application form and supporting documents
  2. FM-IPSR-R&D-066 Executive Summary
  3. FM-IPSR-R&D-007 Recommendations Form from Research Centre & Faculty *
*Faculty to recommend to IPSR, two (2) reviewers for each project that consist of:
  1. Academic staff with PhD Degree; and
  2. Have experience working in the industry for at least three (3) years and/or have experience implementing collaborative projects with industry; or
  3. Expertise from industry
2. 1-25 February 2022 - Online
1 - 11 February 2022 Submission of online application by Applicant and Industry
14 - 18 February 2022 Online review process
21 - 25 February 2022 IPSR verification and online submission to PPRN
