MASTER'S DEGREE BY COURSEWORK

 

The coursework-based is a programme of study that has a major coursework component and a research component which is usually termed 'project work‘. Candidates are required to complete a research project under the guidance of an academic supervisor. Typically, the coursework based programme comprises of 4-6 core subjects including research methodologies, 2-4 elective subjects, and a research component. There will be a specified number of contact hours which will take the form of seminars, tutorials and lectures. Assessment for most subjects includes individual and group assignment work, case-studies, and examinations.
