This Research Grant Management Handbook is designed as a reference for Researchers, FGO’s, Laboratory Officers and for IPSR's Research and Development Unit staff assigned to administer research grants and research related activities. 

The purpose of this handbook is to inform University Staff with the policies, guidelines, as well as the procedure manuals, flow charts and forms which are used in  the management of research grants.


The contents of the handbook will be revised and updated when necessary. The revised version of any policy, guideline or procedure manual will also be available in UTAR Web2. In addition, changes that are significant, and effective immediately, will be announced to all University Staff via e-mail / Mail Master.
