Background

In line with the vision of Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) to be a premier university aspires to achieve excellence in the advancement and dissemination of knowledge and expertise; emphasizing nurturing and holistic development of the individual towards national building, the research centre is set up to provide support and facilities to the academic to continue to strive in their research areas. Being the research centre for banking, finance, and accounting this centre will specialize in developing the research in the areas of banking, finance, and accounting and at the same time moving towards broader research priorities. The centre is committed to achieve excellence in research and consultancy and to gain national and international recognitions as the primary research centre both nationally and regionally. The centre will continue to provide support to research activities among the FBF staff through research grants and by encouraging all its academic staff and graduate students to contribute towards a vibrant research culture.
